Can we really not do it on a MAC though? Thats all I own.

Unless you dual boot a Mac, where you install Windows on a small partition, so you can install it on the Windows side, you cannot use it on a Mac.

BTS announced that they've hired a new lead programer, so hopefully that'll help pick up the pace for a release date.

The problem for me is, the little bit that I have seen from FOF, I know we are not playing the games, so the graphics are not really a big deal, but even the menu graphics look like atari or nintendo from the late 70's or early 80's.

Have you tried FOF 7 to compare it to OOTP?

There is no comparison from a user interface standpoint.

So many nerd acronyms being thrown around in here. Good thing we are all mostly married already.

I joined a league and whats good about FOF7(front office football), is the Jim doesn't put a game out every year, which I'd bet that OOTP puts a football sim out every year $$$. The 3rd party utilities are fantastic for FOF7. The most common ones that guys use to incorporate it with the game are:
1) Draft analyzer
2) Player tracker
3) Game Planner

I joined a league and it's a lot of fun, and yes nidler the interface is a bit dated, but the sims run smooth and well, and the sim engine is really good, It's not for everyone but if you enjoy football this is a great sim game. You need to play online to get the most out of the game, solo play is quite boring....

So you are on a first name basis with the guy who makes FOF7?

And OOTP puts out a baseball game every year, we just don't upgrade to it.

No I'm not on a first name bases with this guy, but on the webpage front office football central(FOFC) he is referred to as Jim. And he does seem to patch the game with upgrades, but doesn't charge for them..

I am not saying no. I will play if we get a league going, I was simply stating that it looks archaic.
