High School Football Coaches

I'm mainly posting for packsy, but if any of you other guys are coaching and use a replay system, what do you use?

We are going to look into the Hudl Sideline system, but I've researched the SkyCoach and echo.

Packsy, do you guys use one? Do you have an endzone camera? If you have any of this, do you guys have coaches run the system, hire out, or use kids in the school?

I went back to visit some old coaches last fall, couldn't believe the shit out there now for this stuff

We used iPad Photostream as a terrible answer to us not having a system yet. It actually worked ok to get the alignments, but we couldn't do video.

My highschool team uses Hudl, but I am not sure they use it for a sideline system. I think they just use it for watching game film afterwards.

Coug, we have a sideline guy that films it live during the game on a video camera. He then passes a sim card and plugs it into a Computer on our sideline and it uploads onto windows media player. It's awesome. I was a terrible coach before replay, now I am just mediocre with having live replay during a game. LOL

What kind of view do you get? Is he field level or is he up in the booth? Any wifi connection etc?

Yeah, I'm not saying it is going to make me better as a play caller, but it definitely is frustrating when you ask the kids how they are lining up and they say one thing and you watch film later and it is completely different. I didn't realize there are so many options out there now. I've asked for quotes from about 5 or 6 different companies and all of them have different setups.

Its a sideline view but he has a tripod he holds that gets a great view.
