Re: Soccer discussion thread
got my tickets to the Brazil Colombia game today. 10th row at like the end line pretty much. i'm pretty pumped, should be a wild atmosphere given the amount of Brazilians/Colombians in Miami.
hope i get to see top notch talent play as its my first professional soccer game i've ever gone to

Re: Soccer discussion thread
poor Man U.. but theyre gonna get instantly better when Di maria comes over, and can only imagine a couple more signings

Re: Soccer discussion thread
they need a central defender in the worst way. but their owner said spend and even break the records if need be so it'll probably be their next purchase.BIGmike wrote:Their defense is woof.nick wrote:poor Man U.. but theyre gonna get instantly better when Di maria comes over, and can only imagine a couple more signings

Re: Soccer discussion thread
Smalling got hurt today, groin injury. We could almost field a damn Premier League team with the injured players we have right now
Carrick and Herrera (who would probably be our first-choice CMs)
Fellaini
Smalling
Evans
Lingard
Luke Shaw
Anderson
Carrick, Herrera, Shaw, and Evans would all be starting if healthy; Smalling is a key backup; and when you add in the fact that Fellaini and Anderson and Lingard are hurt, we have TWO healthy CMs in this side--Cleverley (who shouldn't be in the Premier League) and Fletcher. We had to put Januzaj at CM today, that's how thin we are.
We will be fine once we get guys back. Just too much pressure on that back three when the CMs can't keep the ball.
The interesting thing is, LVG started name dropping Di Maria a week ago, and boom....Woodward goes and signs him. Today, he dropped Vidal's name twice in the postmatch press conference. So maybe he's telling the board to stop dicking around and go get the players he needs.
