Me and AJ tried some of the new game modes. I like blitz. If we had a team it be fun. Cranked is blah. Game is good. Plays like the game use to.

Yeah, the maps really were a minus for me. Too hard to differentiate where you're at and what's going on, things seem either too cluttered or too open, not much inbetween.

I kept getting killed from behind constantly or by someone I couldn't even see.

Odds are as I play a bit more and level up some I will enjoy it more, but I'm not sure anymore if I'm going to go w this over BF4.

Game play wise it's great. Only thing is some of the maps are blah. I also kind of like how the kill streaks aren't as over powered as in the past. I'm a fan.

There is a learning curve to it, no doubt.

Its a lot like MW3.

It literally takes FOREVER to rank up your guy. Not necessarily a bad thing, just different. Not sure about the game modes. Domination only might get old.

Like Mike said about the kill streaks, not overpowered at all. In fact I cant think of one that is even very good. Maybe one of the helicopters? And even that doesnt last all that long.

if there is a killstreak that is any big deal, It'd be news to me

New guys are going to struggle for a few hours of gameplay till you find you groove.

probably played 60 games so far and have only seen lag in one or 2 total

there is a ton to take in at 1st. the setups are completely different. what equipment and weapons to use. It can be frustrating at 1st. I'm enjoying it so far.

Finally, you dont have to be any good to have fun with it and help out. Support kill streaks are there and they dont reset when you die. they keep going. they're slightly weaker than the other streaks, but but better than nothing

Sentry gun is okay but way too easy to get around it and destroy. Dog seems to be most effective KS. The first heli is about useless. Still tinkering with KS.

Gameplay is top notch easily the best in a long time. A lot of fun.

Also, AIM assist has been turned down so it doesn't lock onto guys like it had in the past which is a good thing.

Can't brag enough on the servers and the connections. Had bad lag one game for about half the match then it was fine. Can't wait for PS4. Maps don't wow but they aren't frustrating like blops. You have close combat spots but unlike blops you actually can see farther than 10 feet with out clutter in multiple spots.

I got a series of 5-7 really good games in, that felt like I was on a level playing field and it was pretty awesome. Ironically, I joined this lobby right around the time I was loading the OOTP file, which chews my bandwidth up. After 12 though, it started to revert back to the same crap, and eventually called it quits after playing a game with a couple of Mexicans (I assume) that had me going something like 5-25, with all 5 kills only coming by soundwhoring and getting incredibly lucky in CQC. Anything that was done in an open environment was horribly lagged. I may play a bit more this weekend, but I'm probably done with COD until I get a PS4. Back to FIFA and maybe some NBA 2K.

i'd be the 1st one to complain about some lag. I just havent seen it. Zero problems partying up. No real delays. Very mininal lag and very spread out and not very often. In all honesty I'm completely shocked. Normally the 1st week of these games is painful

Yeah, I'm not seeing too many complaints on it so far. A few raging youtubers, that's about the extent of it. I'm not hardcore into FPS games, so I'm not heartbroken over it or anything. Kind of annoying that I can't really enjoy it for the next 2 weeks. No biggie though, still love FIFA and I picked up NBA 2K as well. I'll give it a shot again this weekend and if it doesn't work, I'll just wait for PS4.

part of the draw that makes it more enjoyable is playing with people you know.

and PS4 is only a week out, so im sure its even more smooth on that :)

Pretty good review I thought as she touched on the maps and the newbie frustration that AJ hit on. Some of the other shit I have no idea what she is talking about.

And she is cute enough as well.

I just wish with games like this, that they would make the online multiplayer cross platform.
We should be able to play PS3 vs PS4 vs XBox 360 vs XBox One vs Wii U vs Wii.

I know with the XBox and Games for Windows you can play XBox 360 vs PC.
And I believe it was Final Fantasy XI Online had it.

Actually, some games listed here that are cross platform:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross-platform

I just think it would be awesome to let all the consoles play against each other online.

I started messing around with the sniper rifles yesterday. It is more like the old days of sniping where a kill shot actually kills guys, but if you hit extremities it will take more than one hit to kill. I was playing the map with the castle, not sure of names yet. My son was watching and I had a nice 15 kill streak going and got the Oracle. Much better game, but like was said, the loadouts and earning equipment is tough.

I found out that streaming Netflix while playing does not optimize one's gaming experience. I thought the game was broken again only to find out a Walking Deal marathon had been going on in the other room. :x
