Banuelos seems to like it in Sheltown, apparently. He smacks 4 more HRs giving him 10 in 35 games with Sheltown.

The Beef are playing excellent ball right now. Still trying to catch New York for the other Bye as it appears Shel's team isn't letting up, I'm about 3 games behind. I think my schedule favors me a little but I haven't checked Trendon's schedule so I'm not sure if he has an easy rode as well.

Some guys that are tearing the cover off the ball right now:
RF Chris Jones .500, 4 HR Last 5 games, batting .341 in August
LF Lynwood Malone .429, 2 HR Last 8 games
1B Wayne Washington .404, 5 HR Last 14 games, batting .354 in August
SS Kevin Saunders .667, 1 HR Last 7 games, batting .386 in August

Domain registration and hosting are fully transferable. :-)

I'm fairly certain I'll be here for awhile still... I'd guess at least Nov. In theory, I'd love to guarantee the next full year, but my work schedule gets pretty brutal. I'm expecting Dec-Jan to be miserable, as I wrap up a very intense school schedule, on top of 2014 annual planing at work. Don't be surprised if I pull in an assistant or we go VERY slow through the holiday season this time around.

I told Shel last night that the 1st week might be the only week I get out Wu. then his 2nd game of the week I see Wu gets injured! I just laughed before I checked the length. only a week! dodged the first Wu bullet.

Split 4 game set with NY, sweep 3 from San Diego.

This team is such a tease. If Mathis and Johnston weren't out for the year, I might think I could make it to a wild card spot. Shit, if Mathis hadn't gone out after 6 starts, I'd probably be at least 5 wins better than I am right now.

Danny Martin, 2-1, 2.49, 1.07 WHIP, averaging over 8IP/game so far with the Martians. Cant complain about that! Stability in our losses :(

with 31 games left and the Spitters down 6, a Al East title defense is looking further and further from reality.

currently 1.5 up on Albany for the last playoff spot.

got NY (Wu is out for 3 games... FUCK) and Houston Alcoholics this week. Huge week.

I knew this spot of the schedule was gonna kill me but wow.....get swept 4 games by Cincy, and then lose two of three to Washington, being shut out in both games.

My pitching is doing well....my bats have totally fallen asleep. It's like we're using whiffle-ball bats.

Went from tied, to 4.5 back of the lead....but still 7 up in the Wild Card, so it could be worse.

Week 2 of the two-week gauntlet has us taking on Phoenix for three games, and then a three game set with Philly. Hopefully we can do better than the 2-8 record we've had over the last 10 games.

S23: ECU 12-2

Dillonvale loses all 3 to the LOLCats and takes 2 of 3 from Philly.

Up next is 3 at Detroit and then 4 vs Pittsburgh.

it definitely sucks but itll be a blessing. you got 33 games left to catch a 7 game lead, might be better to lose out and strengthen your draft position, and go into next yr with a healed (and more developed) squad.
