been a very tough few days for me my daughter is stable havent had seizures in 24 hours but they cant find the main cause of her problems she is set to be released late tomorrow or thursday but have other doctors we have to go see right after they thinking it was either a viral infection or electricity in brain
I cant lie she had me in flat tears espically when she came around at 1st and started to scream and keep me and her mom away like she didn't know who we was and we was trying to kill her . omg i was really hurt deep then but i had to hold strong and i was all better when she wanted me to pick her up today so we could sit in the chair and eat skittles.
Good to hear Daw....
Hang in there, it sounds like she is getting better and hopefully they can figure out what it was.
My buddy's daughter had seizures until she was 2.
They did a bunch of sleep studies and all kinds of tests and in the end, they do not know 100% what it was, but she outgrew it.
The doctors believe that she was holding her breath, getting pissed off and before her body would pass out, it would seize.
So her situation was more of the electricity in the brain as you were saying above. They believe when she would hold her breath, it would cause weird things to happen in her head.

Glad to hear she's on the better side of it Daw. My family will keep you and yours in our thoughts for continued recovery and hopefully figuring out the cause. Can't imagine having to go through that.

omg daw I just saw this thread? my thoughts and prayers are in for you, two, wife and baby girl! things like this are hard on everyone! I've met some of little kids online playing games with my ndl brothers! I always smile when I think of two, when I told him Beefy's house was made of "ice cream". lol I met plasma son on gta, oldschoola's kids, bfivl boys, I've heard Doc telling his son he was playing beefy! lol I think the little one always laugh at my online name! I remember when you daughter was born, hardly seems like 2 years ago! to tell the truth I was in crazy pain (kidney stone) when I logged on to this thread. but reading this kinda took my mind off of my problem and put my thoughts somewhere in the pan handle of Fla!! please know my thoughts are with you and your family! beefy

Dawg, just checking in to see how the little one was doing?
Re: 2 year old in ICU
she is doing great
when we 1st got discharged she started back up...came home took a nap then woke up going downhill fast had to stay another 3 days in the hospital. Now we are having to go to alot of specialist out of town which is starting to wear us out me and my wife missing days at work then having to double back and try and pull extra hours to make up for it have already ran out of vacation so just doing what i can do.
Since being released the 2nd time she hasn't shown anymore signs but I have been told that there was 2 more cases here of the same thing and several more around our area. Haven't gotten any results from the Doc visits we are having as of yet
