I cringe every time I watch him. Or I shouldn't say every time, but certainly when he's going through streaks like these last 4 games but he insists on still going iso and shooting a low % jumper every single time while Woodson just let's him let em fly.ajalves wrote:Carmelo Anthony....i hope the Knicks get crushed just because of this clown.

They should take away this guys vote foreverNEW YORK – A single voter kept LeBron James from making NBA history.
LeBron James took home his fourth MVP trophy on Sunday.
The Miami Heat's superstar fell one vote shy of being the league's first unanimous MVP winner when the Boston Globe's Gary Washburn, a sports writer who has covered the NBA for nine years, cast his ballot in favor of the New York Knicks' Carmelo Anthony.
"I just honestly felt that Carmelo Anthony lifted the Knicks to new heights this season – a No. 2 seed and their first division title in 19 years – with an aging roster, the team's second-best player [Amar'e Stoudemire] out most of the season and a myriad of other injuries," Washburn told Yahoo! Sports.
"LeBron James is unquestionably the best player in the league, but I felt this season Anthony had more value to his team."

Seeing AJ's day progress right before our eyes.
First, the daily OOTP smack talk with nick, sim check.
Then a little shooter section review, no posts, keep moving.
Head on over to yahoo, check the fantasy baseball teams out
Review the NBA section on Yahoo, see whats going on in hoops.
Next, check out the days headlines and hit the not so newsworthy section.

After reading the article's title, he could have shortened that entire article up just like this, "Because I'm a dummy"

I read an article a couple weeks ago talking about the worst shooting spots on the floor by percentage. Anthony takes a lot of shots from those spots but he also is far and away the best shooter by percentage from those spots. You can interpret that anyway you want but it does say something for his ability.shel311 wrote:I cringe every time I watch him. Watching the Knicks is really tough sometimes because Anthony and Smith take so many God-awful, guarded shots. It's frustrating for me. I can't imagine what its like for their teammates and Woodson.

I'm sure you're talking about specific spots on the court.LetsGoPeay wrote:I read an article a couple weeks ago talking about the worst shooting spots on the floor by percentage. The long 2 point shot is the worst shot you can take, percentage wise. Melo shoots 40% from 16-23 feet which would obviously not be the best in the game, but like I said, you may mean more specific locations then just a distance.

Yeah, it had the floor broken down into short range, mid range, long twos, and threes and each zone was divided into fifths.shel311 wrote:I'm sure you're talking about specific spots on the court.LetsGoPeay wrote:I read an article a couple weeks ago talking about the worst shooting spots on the floor by percentage. Re: NBA 2012-2013 Thread
Tonight is a big night for San Antonio. They need to set the tone in this one. Looking at this, I think Curry CLEARLY has the advantage. However, TP has missed a lot of games due to rest and injury, but their minutes per game are very close. Damn, I hope the Spurs can contain this dude, if not, they'll have a very bad night.
I am looking forward to this matchup:
Tony Parker

VERSUS
Steph Curry

I'd still love to know what is up with that entire situation. But yea, that's silly, no one is believing that. Hell, it's his own team that leaked the report of him being medically cleared, there was no other way for us to know that lol.ReignOnU wrote:Derrick Rose made a comment that he just recently heard about the uproar about him not playing... yeah... sure buddy... no one has given you any crap about your entire Adidas campaign or your loud mouth brother.
Stan Van Gundy co-hosts with Lebby once per week, for an entire show. SVG said that with any injury, ACL included, once a player is going full contact in 5 on 5s, that player goes through a handful of practices and starts playing again. I forgot if he said 1 or 2 weeks but that's irrelevant, but he said in all his years associated with the NBA, he's never seen a player take more than 1(or 2) weeks to be back in games after suffering any injury once he's returned to 5 on 5s.
Derrick Rose is at about 3 months now.
