eliminated by Port Orange.jsence2 wrote:ajalves wrote:jsence2 wrote:Well AJ, you were wrong....I was still in it after our series. Ohio swept me at the end and I missed the playoffs by three games.
My offense went from top 2 in almost every category w Ruiz, to near non-existent after his injury. God this is so frustrating.
no, I wasnt wrong.
get some depth while youre at it
Um..... how were you not wrong?
I wasn't eliminated after our series. Thus, you were wrong. If I had won my three games after the series w you, I would have 90 wins--the same number as Toronto and New England. So please explain to me how you mathematically eliminated me again?

So either you can't admit you're wrong, or you have delusions of grandeur. Got it.

How many guys lost their best player during the final month when they played NINE series vs playoff bound teams? Yeah, didn't think so. You talk shit about my team, yet I won 87 games in a division sending three teams to the payoffs; you only won seven more than me, and your second place team had seven fewer wins than our last place team. Nick is right when he calls it the Sunbelt.

Nick's been calling it the Sun Belt for multiple seasons now, so yea, he finally got it right. Woohoo!!
Pretty weird though, has the Sun Belt ever had the 2 most successful teams in an entire league(AL) for a multi-year span?
So wait, looks like Nick wasn't right after all, now doesn't it?

You're right though. No one ever has it as bad as you. How do you make it day to day in life with everyone/everything out to get you?

Then stop blowing yourself and claiming you eliminated me when basic math says you're wrong. If you don't want to admit you're wrong then fine, but don't try to claim you were right!

I think Dave gets hit with injuries worse than anyone in this league, and yet you don't see him complaining on a regular basis. He just says "Well another guy down, I'll move on on still play for the playoffs"
My starting 3B played 5 games all year, till he came back to play the final 2 games. I lost my starting CF and my solid #2 pitcher for over half the season. My starting catcher who I acquired went down with an injury. You didn't see me crying over it. Jsence, injuries happen to everyone in this game. Get over it already.

Go screw yourself. I've never had that mentality about life or a fucking game. If I did, I wouldn't have any success in life, people like that rarely do.
I said it's FRUSTRATING. I'm pretty sure I have a right to be frustrated about an injury to a superstar making $17m and having an MVP type year in a season where I miss the playoffs by three games.
Congrats, you took 2 of 3 meaning we went 3-3 this year. But aren't you 6-130 vs me??? Your 1/2 beat my 3/5 and my 2 whipped your 3. Congrats again, very impressive.
