this for the world cup qualifying?? I know Canada has advanced thus far (which is shocking to say the least)

edit: lol we allowed 1 goal in 6 games in some shitty 2nd round. now its time to get crushed by US and Mexico!

The first three games are friendlies. The qualifying starts with the A&B match. To be honest I don't know what to think of the US team right now. They should advance but I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see them struggle.

Canada advanced to the Olympics, not the World Cup.

no the biggest game is the game vs. Guatemala as it is likely going to be the toughest away game for them in this group for qualifying for the World Cup. And it is payperview because home teams own the TV rights to qualifiers and that is the stupid shit that Guatemala decided.

This isn't a group for mistakes for the US as it is essentially going to be a 3 team group with everyone whipping on Antigua who will be hard pressed to even earn a point.

Jamaica has really been in form lately, especially against CONCACAF teams. They are loaded with European talent and can't be taken lightly by the US. Guatemala is a team that everyone wanted to avoid of the 6 winners and are brutal at home. The US will be very happy with a point away at Guatemala and absolutely can't be caught sleeping in their first qualifiers.

For a bit of analysis on the other 2 groups for qualifying:

Group B: Mexico, Costa Rica, El Salvador and Guyana
Mexico are heavy favorites but drew the best of the 2nd ranked teams in Costa Rica. El Salvador is good, same as Guatemala and likewise, a very rough team to beat on the road. Guyana are big underdogs but are more likely to steal a point somewhere than Antigua is. This Group should be Mexico and Costa Rica but El Salvador is good enough to beat either at home and maybe draw Costa Rica on the road if lucky.

Group C: Honduras, Cuba, Canada, Panama
This is going to be the group to watch. The other two groups are more predictable but anyone can win this group or finish 4th. Honduras is the current top team in Central America and is playing with good form. Panama is a similar team to El Salvador or Guatemala and Canada is lead largely by European caliber players. Cuba as always is largely unknown as usual.

Whata freaking goal from Bradley. A half volley rocket from distance off a beautiful setup from Jones and Donovan. That's gonna make the Sportscenter Top 10.

Michael Bradley's gonna be with a top-flight club within the next 18 months. Book it.

No way he stays stuck at Chievo for long.
