-- bruising rb's can be effective almost like body punchers in boxing... they may not hit the home run but they fall forward, they break initial tackles and seem to be effective enough to use unlike other years where if you didnt have speed you were pointless.
-- an accurate qb can still throw the ball just fine
-- you need to be quick on your passing reads and stay in the pocket or you'll get bumrushed by opponents dline
-- when passing you need to have touch on some passes. for example, on a slant pass you need to lob it over the lb'ers head if he's sitting back so either you need to hit up on left stick or tap the button and lead the guy a little. its certainly a little trickier than years past when you could just smash the button and throw a bullet as soon as he had a space.
-- its important to lead guys on throws
-- ratings seem to matter alot. i don't see a particular area that 'works too well' but i see whenever a highly rated guy is around that he usually can dominate. again, seems obvious, but in years past you didn't necessarily need to be a great player but just fast and you'd be good.
-- special teams are more fun. punt/kick returns are possible, bigred blocked a punt against me yesterday when i was punting out of my own endzone. good stuff there.
overall i get why people are complaining that its 'too hard' but we were complaining it was 'too hard' last year and thats why we played on AA and we were more than fine by the end of season 1 on offense. the passing is tweaked a little bit to benefit good qb's and guys who have good touch throwing, i don't think thats a bad thing and i think the good guys will still be awesome passers and the shitty guys will still be shitty.

Is anyone else having a problem calling an audible and using the right stick instead of calling your pre-assigned audibles. I just played Riccio and calling audibles it shows pick a play with 0 to go back, I thought I picked a play but still see that sign on the screen but when hitting 0 all it does is scroll through the players.
Re: First thoughts about NCAA Football 2012
No one has been discussing this (maybe I missed something) but what is the verdict on AA vs Heisman? Are we going to stick with AA? I have only played 2 games online and they were ranked games in the lobby (terrible idea). I am going to look for scrimmages later and actually play some straight games online tonight. Have you guys been scrimming on AA or Heisman?
Re: First thoughts about NCAA Football 2012
I'm a passer, and this game at least for me has been a INT waiting to happen.
Oh and yes, would like to know as well AA or Heisman not that it makes a hill of beans difference either way as far as my record cause I may break the NDL record this year for interceptions in a season.

Whoever it is, NDL Florida will be in that ear. Very influential group of people apparently.shel311 wrote:WAH!!!Block M wrote:Oh excuse me, it's whatever NDL Florida wants

Man, lot of whining around here lately.
And it's really shitty of you to insinuate that Buckeye can't speak for yourself and make his own decisions without being influenced.
You're basically taking a HUGE shot at our commish.
Way to go Block.

Nah, I'm taking a shot at how things played out last year.
No vote, it was just decided with the promise of a vote after S19 and that never happened.

Yep, the "woe is me" attitude.DRiccio21 wrote:shitty way to live life
The funny part is, Corey doesn't even care about this game. I have ZERO influence with Nole and AJ and have honestly literally NEVER really given them any personal input on how I think things should go.
But Block wants to cry about something where he is 100% wrong. It's pretty funny though.

How'd things play out last year, and how did all of NDL Florida influence that decision.Block M wrote:Nah, I'm taking a shot at how things played out last year.
Let us know Block since you seem to know more than the guys you are claiming have all the influence.
So, how'd things play out?

Re: First thoughts about NCAA Football 2012
I've been holding that in since last July and I know I'm not the only one.
Corey's post just wreaked of a repeat of last year even though you'll say I took it out of context. Atleast this year I'm in the AA camp and not Heisman.

Re: First thoughts about NCAA Football 2012
Again, what influence did NDL Florida have on that decision, other than the fact that the final decider was the commish, who happened to live in Florida?
You're completely making up some conspiracy theory, like literally completely pulling shit out of your ass and you know it.
What evidence or anything do you have for you to say that? Honestly, let us know.
Like I said, Corey doesn't give a shit. I never speak to anyone on these matters. So you can see how it seems obvious that you're just saying shit for the sake of saying shit.
