Remembering the NDL: B's
Re: Remembering the NDL: B's
I tried some of budvols recipes .
Pretty good stuff.
Funny story about bradvol, I forgot which season it was but we played a league game . He was the Vols and I had Memphis . Deangelo Williams went off and I was able to pull off the upset . He sent me a message saying congrats and stuff and that he was about to leave the league b/c he couldn't deal with losing to Memphis
pretty good list of owners for sure.
Co Mvps for me-
bama for his tenure with the tide and bigmike for his dominance

^^ this is why this is a bad idea lol.
edit: damn it. i meant the bickering and cheese back/forth. the positive shit is awesome
MVPs of the B's: BigMike, BFiVL and Buckeye. My choice I pick 3. All solid guys, cept Bigmike is sloshed every weekend. Bfivl is fun to play games against, and Buckeye laughs at my jokes so thats a +1

MVP for me is BillRoy, he was funny as hell, why did he leave again? And when did Black Rain go? I think he still posts though

bigbadbull never left Vandy
Re: Remembering the NDL: B's
BigMike is my MVP. I remember having a lot of good battles/scrims/conversations with him back in the PS2 days when I didn't suck at this game like Riccio

And the legend lives on. He's been discussed in both "remembering" threads and we aren't even to the J's!packsyD22 wrote:Big bad bull was JeffMo.ChampDizzle wrote:bigbadbull never left Vandy
Re: Remembering the NDL: B's
back in the day before i understood the NDL way and when i actually cared about winning (i didn't cheese but i'd run the same play 3 or 4 times a game and always in a big spot, etc etc) i was relatively decent... now, i just suck.Cnasty wrote:Hahahahahhahahaha, Riccio sucks!!!!Matt90210 wrote:when I didn't suck at this game like Riccio

although UConn as a B+ gives me a small glimmer i might be able to keep up a little better this season, but everyone in the big east is a B+ basically so back to 4-8.
matt, don't make me dig thru my files on my 10 year old laptop to find your career playoff record in the MDL.

I couldn't jetpack for shit lol
Re: Remembering the NDL: B's
I remember when you had UCLA and I lost thanks to MJD and Lewis. MJD would blink for 10 yards a pop or Lewis would be wide open.DRiccio21 wrote:back in the day before i understood the NDL way and when i actually cared about winning (i didn't cheese but i'd run the same play 3 or 4 times a game and always in a big spot, etc etc) i was relatively decent... now, i just suck.Cnasty wrote:Hahahahahhahahaha, Riccio sucks!!!!Matt90210 wrote:when I didn't suck at this game like Riccio

bgaines could have been one of the best ever....ok, he had no chance. I keep trying to get him to join again, but for some reason he thinks his kids keep him too busy.....it's really the wife. Still wish he would come back, would be nice to play a brother rivalry every year and get an easy W in the process.

bgaines is your brother?
very cool... never knew that

Yep, he only played a few games (even though it shows a full season) with G. Tech...was a replacement owner. He was back in the farm last "season" and found out he still doesn't have the time to play right now. I guess he was at least smart enough to not get a team and then just not play.

Re: Remembering the NDL: B's
i have known buskwick for a long time, and the guy just disapeared off the face of the earth. i would call him and never answered or returned any calls. black rain is a pimp for anybody who was at ndl vegas trips. i have known him for a long time and consider him a really good friend.
this little video game brings alot of people together in diffferent ways,if its info on products or about a city, the info is great on here. i dont have the drive in regards to playing ncaa as i did years ago,but this brotherhood of guys who enjoy sports and video games is great, and paying 59.99 for a game is a steal to just be part of the ndl.

That guy absolutely skewered me in a lobby game way the fuck back. It was on one of the PS2 versions where I was pretty good. I used South Florida (a team I was experienced in) and he matched-up. All signs pointed to me winning and it went nothing like that.ChampDizzle wrote:I remember bradvol had some serious stick skills.
Re: Remembering the NDL: B's
Bradvol was decent, didn't take losing to well though.
