PS3 just took a crap and the game is stuck inside

Looks like my season ends before it starts...........I cannot retrieve the video game out of the unit. And the unit does not play or recognize anything.

Hold down the power button up front as soon as it comes on and hold until it beps 3 times.

I believe i did that and it is a hard reboot on the system. You might be able to at least get the game out?

Yeah, I have tried that in the past, as it does not turn on or it just dies immediately.

On a side note I went with a friend to Gamestop yesterday and he traded in his damaged system and got 70/75 bucks for it towards a refurbished system and got God of War 3 thrown in for free.I know some guys have gotten it fixed for 80 bucks or so he figured might as well get that money towards another system.As for getting the game out try google there are many topics on it and some videos also.

When my PS3 shit the bed what I did was turn it off in the back with the switch, then while holding either the power button or the eject, can't remember which, button down flipped the switch in the back. It ramped up the fan and spit the game out. It stayed on for a bit then died again later.

I tried everything and even took it to a shop, where my buddy says the unit was not even worth it to repair. He took the game out, as it has rings underneath it...he says it was grinding and messed up the disc. I never heard anything.........or may be it was a silent grinding. Sucks..........but with unexpected car repairs this month, buying another PS3 is on the backburner. I am out this season...............thanks for all the suggestions.
