Definitely. Every once in a while a great feature comes about, like quick count on The Show last version. Other than that there's not a whole lot more groundbreaking stuff they can do.

like the golf simulators they have at the golf stores where you actually hit into the screen.

trackman is something that they use where i get lessons to just track your swing mechanics and stuff. but its like 50k to buy.

gotta think over the next 5-7 years there will be affordable options to hit real balls into a wall with real clubs and incorporate that to ps4.

i'm sure seeit knows more about the technologies out there being around all the product tents and stuff at these events.

OptiShot is about $500... get a ceiling mounted projector and a screen/backstop to hit into and you've got your own setup.

Trackman is absurdly cool and detailed but the cost is about 50k

I've actually looked into a simulator, it's on the wish list for my next house. I've seen some really awesome setups where they'll have a screen and projector like reign said, with lounge seating for movies etc when not using it for golf. Would be so awesome for the cold months

They have some really good looking residential units in the $8-12k range too, which use ball tracking opposed to club tracking which is what I think optishot does

yeah thats about what i've seen for mid tier ones in that 8-10k range.

i am just hoping that Trackman ones get down to that range.
