Yeah, the stores opened preorders yesterday when they weren’t supposed to until today, good luck now.
Sony had a sign up and i havent gotten my email yet, we’ll see.

Re: PS5
Anyone know a good place to get a good side by side comparison of PS5 vs XBox Series X.
Since I've mostly phased out my PS4 in favor of XBox, all along I've just assumed I'll go XBox. But I guess I should try to really see what both of them offer.

Re: PS5
I will pre-order both for Christmas for the youngin.
Will eventually sell one of them along with his current set up.
He’s an Xbox kid but has been wanting a PS.
I don’t game at all anymore so there’s that.

Re: PS5
XBox is far superior. if you stay PS at thi9s point its just cause more ppl u know have it + you're a ps fan boy (in general, not you).
Re: PS5
It always comes down to the games.
Both systems are going to be so similar in performance and overall capabilities. Both companies are working from the same technology base (CPU and GPU) with only slight differences (XBox went for more teraflops, Sony went for higher frequency). Both systems will have the same RAM, resolution, and internal disc drives. Sony went with a slightly smaller SSD for faster loading times vs XBox with a slightly larger but slower traditional internal drive and both are expandable using matching external drives.
It comes down to whether you want to play Halo, Fable, Forza, and Gears of War, or you want to play the next God of War, Spiderman, Horizon Zero Dawn, or Gran Turismo.
That's really it.
But it should be noted you can play Halo, Fable, Forza, and Gears of War on your PC too. Not true for the Playstation exclusives.

Sweet, I'll take a look.dakshdar wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 1:32 pm Basic table of comparisons:

And I won't be playing any of the games you listed lol. Just all sports titles, plus whatever my kids will be playing.
Re: PS5
That's fair. You're more likely to be system agnostic if you're just playing Third Party as you can go with either. You may even consider the cheaper XBox digital version as it is less than the PS5 digital version.shel311 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 1:40 pmSweet, I'll take a look.dakshdar wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 1:32 pm Basic table of comparisons:

Re: PS5
Yeah both “were” available but preorders are all closed right now.
Xbox went with a more PC approach to their system, although both will be similar.

Re: PS5
Yes, but the Xbox no disc version is a lower powered machine. That's why it's $100 less than the no disc PS5.
