EASports.com videos and youtube

Post by Nole4real »

This has changed now that EASportsworld.com no longer has a Share button.

Now you have to

Go to http://www.easports.com
Login
Now on the top right, click on your username.
Now click on the Media link under the My Player Hub.

You will now see a list of videos that you have in your EASports.com account as shown below.

Once you select the video that you want, you will now have a download link as shown below in Green.

Once you download the video, it will now be on your hard drive.

Now open up youtube and login.
You will see an upload option and then a big arrow to click on as highlighted below.

Once you click on the big red upload arrow, it will now bring up an explorer view. Navigate to the video that you want to upload and double click it.
Youtube will then convert your video and upload it to your youtube account.

Once complete, click on the video manager link and you will see a list of your youtube videos.

Now follow this thread to include the youtube video in a thread post or into your recaps.

yes, this is the EASY way, but it only works for the 5 videos you can store in EAsportsworld. Once you want to save more than 5, it will overwrite those five, the videos are gone and won't show up. I think we've all used this at first, but once you have more than the 5 videos allowed on EAsportsworld, then your screwed.

This is why you need to use a 3rd party so you can save as many videos as you would like ;)

from the main menu, go to your shrine and you can watch your highlights, then there is an option to upload to EA (X i think).

do you have to save them to your shrine? At the end of the game I'm able to watch highlights but it doesn't say that i can save them.

yeah, after game, go to highlights, not replay. It will list play by play each quarter. Use R1/L1 to toggle quarters. Then choose highlight, then it will give you option of which camera angle, once you watch it all the way through, it will ask you if you want to save, it will also confirm how many slots you have left for that game.

Earlier I did. It was kicking me off but i'd sign back in just fine. Did it 3 or 4 times though.

I edited the first post with the new settings.

EASports.com changed their video manager and you can no longer share the video.
You must now download it and then upload it to youtube.
