That's interesting since his answer he's given a few times was that it doesn't fix any of that.nick wrote:except for i already debunked whatever he said as completely incorrect. Re: Realignment Format Poll
unless were... going for 18 games/yr to less.. then you dont need ot go to 2 divisions to do that you just lower the amount of times they play in division games
Re: Realignment Format Poll
if you want a truly "balanced" schedule, which isnt MLB norm but whatever. Youd need to have 6 diviisons, 5 teams per. so thats 4 teams in division + yourself. You have to face in division min 2x more than others or whats the point of divisions? so I ran the #s.
face every non division 5 times, and everyone in division 10 times (2x) and it equals to 165 games but you got a "balanced" schedule with a few more games added to your in division opponents to make the divs worth having
Im 100% not for this, but thats your "balanced schedule"
heres how itd look.

Just because you answer with the word apples doesn't mean it explains how it fixes the issue with the schedule.shel311 wrote:With all due respect, Billy has answered this numerous times across both poll threads.The_Niddler wrote:I asked up front how does 2 divisions per fix anything and I was told it would balance out the schedules.

if we do 6 divisions, we should do fifa style pots. rank 1-30 last 3 (or 5 yrs) and id emphasize 2x on this yr as a bonus since most recent. so thatd be 4 yr or 6 yr sample size. Then, rank 1-6, 7-12, 13-18, 19-24, 25-30 and have a live draw of each set to determine the groups.
Or since i use excel, if we wanna weigh out, do like this yr 2x, last 1, yr before .75, yr before .5, yr before .25

Vote went from option 2 up 12-3 to down 13-12.
That's one heck of a comeback.

5 pots x 6 divisions based off the WP of the last 5 yrs (200%, 100%, 75%, 50% 25%). We would have these pots.

Re: Realignment Format Poll
We got 23 votes in and 1 guy reached out to me and said he truly does not care and therefore will not vote. That leaves 6 more, I am pretty sure who at least 1 of them are but either way I will leave this open for most of Sunday and by Sunday night see who won and I will start to draw names for the draft and we can begin on Monday.
The plan was to do it today but tracking down everyone with a draft on a Sunday that NFL starts will be a nightmare and since it did not hold up the rollover we will do it on Monday.
