Next sim, right-click on Washington and you should have an option to induct him. If I remember what Niddler told me.

This. It is something simple like this if this is not exact.

Obviously I wasn't a part of the league when Kevin Thomas was pitching but when I just look at numbers he looks like a sure fire hall of famer. For those who were in the league is there something I am missing as to why people do not vote for him?

He was a cyborg.

And admittedly tampered with (though it was claimed to have been reset).

I didn't vote Crow because I don't believe he belongs.

He is top 25 in only 3 categories, top 50 in 6 categories

Wayne is Top 10 in 7 categories. Top 25 in 9 categories and top 50 in 10 categories.

Don't think it compares as much as you are making it out to be. Crow was never one of the most dominant players in his era. Especially if defensive numbers play into your WAR (not sure if it does or not). His best season in 2020 none of those numbers say elite (except his .343 batting average). He has a career 115 OPS+, meh!

That is the reason I didn't vote him in, and I wont next year either. Just my opinion on him.

Crow has 3 seasons where his WAR is top 100 all time: 2020, 2022, and 2023.

Washington twice, 2026 and 2031.

His best single season was also more than 1 WAR higher than Washington's.

true, but people aren't voted into the HOF for their defense most times. WAR seems to have a decent percent of their formula that includes defense

Defense does play a part in WAR and I think SB's too. Not really fair to compare a 1B to a CF. That's why I never go strictly by WAR. But, defense and speed is part of the game too, so you can't just automatically discount Crow's only slightly above-average offensive numbers compared to Washington's numbers.

Myself, I voted Crow in the past, but when other more-deserving nominees came in (Huggins, Pacheco, McCarty), he got left off. This year, he got back on. Don't forget we had 3 guys get inducted last year and 4 guys fall off the ballot for time served, opened up a lot of spots for Crow to get a bump.

Both are elite at their position, both deserve to get in I think. Top 5 CF's of all-time (off the top of my head, in no particular order, and just my opinion): Lewis, Anderson, Rojas, Crow, and Ramos. Top 5 1B's: Cruz, Washington, Huggins, Alvarez, and Lopez.

Defensively, Crow is the 2nd best and arguably best CF (tip of the cap to Spawn Lewis) our league has ever had. He posted the single highest season ZR ever and 3 of the top ever. I give Lewis a lot of credit though, because his longevity at being good is remarkable.
