Dynasty League
Anyone ever been in a fantasy football dynasty league?
My brother-in-law started one and Blackrain and I got in it.
Our first draft is this year.
You keep all your players after the season and we have a 5 round rookie draft each year.
Will be interesting to see how it works.

My friends and I started this 12 years ago. Absolutely love the league. Our free agency is fully automated and the rookie draft is 2 rounds on the message board.

Some General Rules:
- Hard Salary Cap
- Rookies get $0 x 4 or $0 x 3 contracts (1st rnd / 2nd rnd)
- Contract values are based on $ amount + (contract length x 2)
- Prestige/Power is earned by success over the last 3 seasons... it provides an edge in FA negotiations
- Max contract length in FA is 3yrs
- Contracts are guaranteed, so if you cut a player, you have hidden cap costs

Re: Dynasty League
16 to be exact...seven dynasties, and the rest are keepers/regular leagues, plus at least six in person live draft parties. I have lived in so many states, buddies back in Boston, Orlando, Monterey, Denver, Las Vegas leagues and yours. All it takes is one person to run a league, then to invite you, all I do is say yes...which can be troubleThe_Niddler wrote:You are in like 14 fantasy football leagues. Lol

Re: Dynasty League
the NDL keeper league was originally started as a 18 team dynasty but I think it was too big and too diluted. You were typically starting a RB or WR that might not even play (coaches decision) if anyone on your team got hurt. There wasnt even enough QBs for each team to have a backup

Re: Dynasty League
I quit two sixteen team non-dynasty leagues this upcoming season, because both commishes had 12 or 13 starting roster spots and I think seven or eight bench spots, which was ridiculous. There was a cap on one defense and one kicker, may be five or six runningbacks, etc on each team, so basically if you had a decent defense, you had to eat the bye week. Only good thing about those two leagues were the money payouts at $1200.00 dollars with weekly money winnings. I keep it to 12 teams maximum and minimum for the leagues I run and join.
