Eeeeeeatily
Eeeeeeatily
Booked a return trip to Italy for the spring, in the process if putting together a rough itinerary. Anybody with reco's (particularly food) imm all ears
Venice
Only spending one day there. Gondola ride and St Marks are on the to-do list but honestly not too much planned other than taking the city in.
Florence 3 days
-Doing a bike/wine tour through Tuscany, 10 hrs so a full day
-Visit the Duomo and the adjacent tower
Rome 3 days
We've already been so Ive got a good idea of what we want to do, really only making the stop so my brother can experience it. Colosseum, vatican, roman forum, Pantheon, etc. Id love to hear about grub though
Positano-Almalfi Coast 2 days
Gonna spend one day doing the "Walk of the Gods", a 10km hike along the cliff coastline. Pictures look awesome, I think Im most excited about this part to be honest. Might hit up a beach or kayak to a grotto the other day or something

Re: Eeeeeeatily
Gotta say, the bike ride through Tuscany was a top 20 life experience for me. By far the most beautiful place I've ever been, and Florence in general was fantastic.
I thought Venice, while I'm definitely happy to have checked it out, was unique yet mildly underwhelming.
Finishing up our stay in Rome, before heading to the Almalfi which was the headliner for me coming in

Venice- Cool city to experience, smells terrible. Glad I went for a day but no real desire to head back
Florence- Beautiful city. Did some touristy stuff in town, also took a trip out to the countryside for a bike-wine tasting tour
Rome- Our second time there. I didnt realize how dirty the place was until we got there immediately after Florence. Fantastic history, better food
(Inside St Peters. Those blue letters are 6 feet tall, alter is 90 feet tall. You lose all perspective in that place)
Almalfi Coast (Positano)- Gorgeous cliff coastline. We took a hike along a 3.5 mile path and the views were everywhere
Re: Eeeeeeatily
those pics are sick. glad you had a good time.
was the kid on the bottom right of the St Peters pic's neck 6 ft long also?

I've started planning and saving for a trip back as well. I'd love to see where I was born, but from what I've read/heard Naples is essentially the Detroit of Italy, but with the mafia and more crime/dirt

We passed through Naples on our way to Almalfi from Rome. If I were the judging type, I wouldn't be stopping for any extended period
