The Pressure Is On, LLC

Post by GeorgesGoons »

Hey all, well some of you know that I started a Pressure Washing business and officially formed my LLC in August. I have reached out to get some logo concepts made. I was given 6 concepts to choose from to elaborate on. What do you guys think?

The names are too wordy. You want something succinct, descriptive, and memorable.

Descriptive: Power Wash (it's like pressure washing but with hot water and chemicals)
Memorable: The Pressure Is On - a pun on pressure washing

and I'll have to google succinct

Your company name is way too long.

TPIO Powerwashing or whatever is easier

The name of the company is "The Pressure Is On"

The product we provide is Power Washing (pressure washing for the people that don't know what power washing is)

If I had to pick one, it would be the first one.

Not trying to be a dick, but these aren't very good. Is this just someone doing it on the side for you or are you intended to pay them for this? If you're paying, find someone else.

These are rough drafts. Concepts to figure out which way to go and then refine them. I like #1 and #5. Wife likes #5. I am looking at what translates into a truck wrap, hats and shirts as well. On #1 there needs to be a wand included, which I told the guy doing the design. On #5 I told him the water marks needs to not be so prominent on the S and H in the word wash. Also, need to differentiate the water color from the wand.

The guy in #4 is something I want to use in my business card. I plan on having 2 different cards, one card stock and one plastic (for commercial accounts). The design with be the same on both with the exception that on the plastic ones where the little guy is spraying you will be able to see thru the card.

If I was artistically inclined or even able to come up with a concept (minus the business card concept which I came up with) I would have done this myself. But I have zero artistic or creative imagination bones in my body. So with that said, let me know what you think about my little guy on the plastic business card idea.

I'm paying $75 for this and a commercial flyer. If you look at a lot of the other companies they use basic clip-art logos:

https://www.google.com/search?q=clip+ar ... 00&bih=764

The wand, the guy they are all damn near the same what these companies use and I wanted to be different

2, 4, and 6 are not good at all...hard to believe they would even send those to you. #5 looks like it would translate best on marketing materials assuming they clean it up.

Got me my first no BS monthly contract. Twice a month cleaning of 6+ F150's (maybe more but they weren't there when I bid them), 3 F550's, a couple of large flat beds, 3+ skid steers (like a bobcat), 2 front loader tractors. Should pay at/above $800 a month and shouldn't take much more than 5-8 hours to complete for the month.

Have two other bids that look pretty promising:
One is a moving company, 10 straight trucks for $35 a piece. Less than 20 minutes each to clean. Cleaned twice a month.

The other is a propane delivery company, Ferrellgas, which should pay close to a grand a month cleaning twice a month.

So if the two other bids go thru I am looking at $2500 a month for around 22-25 hours of work.

Once I get my two step process down I'll be able to cut these times damn near in half because I won't have to brush anything. I'll just spray a low pH solution (acid), then spray a high pH detergent (truck washing soap) over top of that to neutralize the pH and then rinse and all the dirt will just fall off without brushing.
