Re: MLB Thread
Mariners won’t play tonight. Doesn’t that team of mostly white baseball players not know that the guy was justifiably shot? Smh.

Re: MLB Thread
White Sox are playing great this year. I didn't think they would be this good this year, thought the team needed another year together. Tim Anderson finally got into his groove last year and is playing great this year, leading the AL in average at .360 (next closest is .325) and is 3rd in OPS. Nick Madrigal is getting on base with his singles, can't wait till he starts hitting for a little more power to get some extra base hits (0 so far this year). He did have a separated shoulder so that my still be bothering him, but he is hitting .400.
Overall the Sox are 4th in MLB OPS, 3rd in HR's and average. Their pitching hasn't been bad either, 7th in MLB ERA and 9th in WHIP.
Would love to see them go deep in the playoffs.
and they are better than that shitty north side team, so that makes me even happier

Remember when baseball was a thing?
At any rate, the NLCS and World Series is going to be in Arlington, and they will allow 11,500 fans to be in attendance.
Don't care about baseball, but may check in on ticket prices or to see how hard they may be to come by, as it would be pretty cool to get to a World Series game.

Re: MLB Thread
imagine how expensive those tickets are gonna be.
Re: MLB Thread
I don't think you could pay me to watch baseball these days. Literally, if you said "here's $50, go watch 'x game' live for the next four hours" I'd turn it down

Re: MLB Thread
Ive been to a couple of world series games. they are great when everyone is into every pitch. Only thing that sucks is the between innings seems to be longer then normal. other then that, you can go home with a world series program and the corona this year.shel311 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 6:15 pm Remember when baseball was a thing?

I had game 6 tickets when the Rangers and Giants played for my son and I, he was 12 at the time. Giants led the entire game 5 and the Rangers were up 3-1 in the series. The Rangers came back and won the game as my son and I listened on the radio. Needless to say we cried that night as we missed out on a chance to visit SF and go to a world series

Was out for the normal Thursday festivities at the local brewery and gotta say that Cards-Pads game was very entertaining.
The Tatis/Myers home run display was impressive.

Re: MLB Thread
One of the funnest games to watch last night. And the way it ended in the bottom of the 9th
This has to be in the top 3 world series games as far as entertainment value goes for me
