They are 68th in Kenpom. One above South Dakota St and two behind mighty St Johns
They are a very average team who clearly match up well with UConn and we get our coached each time we’ve played
Think that Kenpom ranking is going to go way up. Hope UCONN wins tonight against Villinova so we can get another UCONN/Cheighton game. Creighton is absolutely on fire destroying #1 seed Providence.
But I do agree with you. This Creighton team is nowhere near where it has been over the past years. If they stick together for 2-3 more years and they get a guy that can drain the 3 this team will be scary!
Gonzaga over Auburn in the championship but I have about 5% confidence in that happening. It wouldn’t shock me if all of my final four is out in the Elite 8 or earlier.
Turn it to TruTV, Providence / SDST has been good for the first 9 minutes. Not one stoppage until 11 minutes left in the 1st half. Back and forth quick play so far. May end up being the best game of the day
IU definitely looked like a team that squeaked into the tournament and then played a game after a cross country flight that left Dayton at 4AM yesterday. What an embarrassment.
Kaukbrenner going down with a possible ACL/MCL injury is tough to swallow. If he is out all year next year, the 2023-24 year looks amazing for the Jays with Alexander, Kaluma, Nembhart all as Juniors and Kaukbrenner as a senior
