It is the sports version of AnesthesiologyWeasel wrote:Golf is probably my favorite sport to watch currently. Im old.
Re: 2016 Presidential Election
Thats actually a pretty good analogy. Anesthesia is an incredible thing to practice and partake in, usually a good amount of action and youre always mindfully active. But can be incredibly boring to watch. Like golf, or flying a plane.

Re: 2016 Presidential Election
I did say I like politics. And honestly, I've only watched maybe an hour or 2 each day. All they are doing is repeating what they said in Congress. And when I say repeating, like 10-20 times a day they repeat themselves. Democrats are wasting everyone's time here, we would be better off with Congress and Senate trying to get prescription medication prices down or something like thatwdoupis wrote:But he will watch 100 senators ramble on about nonsense for 3 days... Lol, politics is stupid.
A) president obviously did wrong things before taking office, during presidency, and wants to cover it with political lines
B) everyone recognizes misguided president
C) we are wasting time with a constitutional process
Hmmm, sounds like every entitled persons story...

Shel, I think I like you more for your peeps doing something that will get them to hang themselves as well (or shoot themselves in the head 5 times)

ELI5
Did I read we just signed an agreement with the Taliban??
Admitted naivety here about the why but that whole headline is exciteable considering how we look at 9/11 still as a country and other ties.

Alot of social media folks recently flipped out on Garth Brooks for wearing a "Sanders 20" jersey during a show.
The concert was in Detroit ... Think about it...
People are stupid.

Re: 2016 Presidential Election
Beats me. Everyone has tried to figure a way out of there. Think about it, we've been slowly withdrawing for damn near 10 years now with the reduction in forces over there every year.
I'm not a fan of it at all. I think if we are to pull out we just pull out, give them their little "victory" or whatever they want to call it by us leaving. It's a war that can never be won, eliminating an enemy is easy. Eliminating an ideology is impossible, especially when they are your friends during the day and then plant bombs by night.
I think right before we leave they kill a couple of Soldiers, we still pull out and it's their victory speech to new terrorist recruits.
