Be gentle Biffy.
I haven’t been to Mercedes yet. I’m keeping an eye on ticket prices myself to drive down. Make sure you eat at The Varsity. Get an Orange Cream Drink and a fried apple pie.

Done all that many times as my family lives in Buford GA but your point is still valid!

Excited to check out this stadium in comparison to Jerry World here in Dallas.

Atlanta Breakfast Club is highly recommended as well. It’s right across from the Georgia Aquarium. I got the Southern Breakfast and my wife got the Peach Cobbler French Toast. They were both top of the line in my book.

Awesome, thanks.
I am sure that whole area has been revamped with the new stadium but maybe not. Really looking forward to it.

another spot to eat/drink is Max Lager. Amazing steaks and beers. They also have items that aren't on the menu as specials. One time we went they had rabbit and another time was pheasant. Pheasant is pretty damn good normally, just didn't eat it there. My son and I both ordered the Cowboy Steak, absolutely amazing!

I think the NCAA goes away and the power 5 makes their own league. And then the NCAA becomes the league between FBS and the new NCAA

power 4.. 4 leagues of 16 teams.

Pac 16
ACC
SEC
Big 10

the remaining decent Big 12 teams prolly split between Big 10 and Pac 10. ACC adds a few teams from AAC or just coastal teams like Carolina/Liberty.

@PFF_College

BREAKING: Clemson and Florida State have reached out to the SEC about joining the conference

I'm gonna miss the days of teams going undefeated when this goes the NFL route with just 1 super league of 30 good teams with all the elite teams playing 3-4 elite regular season matchups.

Granted, it will make for some awesome regular season games weekly, but the nostalgia in me just likes it the way it is/was.

Good timing.

Booking a trip to Norman for our annual college football stadium tour and OU won this year in the lottery.

Will need where to eat, drink, and stay before September.
Thanks!

Nice, which game? Bill Brasky?

In Norman

Apps/Drinks
Blackbird
Volare
The Mont
O'Connell's
Louie's
The Winston

Thai:
Thawan Thai

TexMex:
Tarahumara's
Ted's Cafe Escondido

Local chain:
Charleston's
Hideaway Pizza

Breakfast:
Neighborhood JAM
Juan Del Fuego

Nicer
Benvenutti (my favorite)
The Ranch

If you stay in Norman probably newer stuff on the NW side of town, there's an embassy suites and a few others that are new right there. There's not much to stay near campus unless it's an Air BnB. The nice hotels are in downtown OKC (about 25 mins north of Norman).

I can give you pretty good streets to take on gameday and places to park as well because it is a cluster on the main roads.

Exactly what I was looking for. I will text you to get some more details as it gets closer too. We will be doing an AirBNB most likely. Thanks man!
