The Edmonton Mounties!!!!! Congrats to a first time winner. Man, this was just a hell of a playoffs. Edmonton started off by dispatching Philly and sweeping NE in the ALCS but then things got tough. After a thrilling 3 run HR to come back from 2 down in the 9th in game 1, Edmonton went up 3-1 in the WS. After Houston fought back to force a game 7 Edmonton found himself down 2-1 in the 8th inning and exploded for 6 runs to win the series.
I have to give props to a hell of a season, playoffs, and turnaround from RanDawg and Houston. He went from 57 wins last season to 4 outs away from a World Series this season while facing some really tough teams. Ran really picked up his activity last offseason, became super active in the trade market and it paid off big time. I hope to see the momentum continue to build and see what this Houston team can do.
Great job Edmonton and congrats. Now lets have a great offseason and get ready for a new decade in the NDL

Thanks, all. I'm shocked the group of crazy youth handled the playoff run. Guess they were just too naive to understand what everything meant. Hopefully they can keep it up for a few years.
