+18.3 ZR equals roughly 4.6 WAR. Sumita had 99 OPS+ so I assume all of his WAR is defense.

That's not quite correct I don't think.

Because 100 OPS+ is league avg. But WAR is measured against a replacement player, which is far below average. So 100 OPS+ would definitely carry some amount of WAR in the positive territory.



From what I've read, if you had a roster full of complete 0 WAR players, that roster would be a 40 ish win team.

Conner is a regular season stud and that trade still makes sense in the Sheltown win now mode.

His playoff numbers though...ouch.

Flores did seem to drop off there for a bit. OSA still doesn't have him that high. My scout likes him better that OSA but we all know how that goes
