2063 Season Thread.... The Qazhby Show

Welcome to the 2063 season and once again congrats to Qazbhy and the Steel City Bulldogs on winning the title.

There is one key change in OOTP 20 and you all need to understand it:

OOTP20 allows us to use the new CBA which uses the current method for comp eligible free agents. They are way more complex but the key thing is you will not lose your highest pick so unless you have multiple picks in round 1 your first rounder is safe. Here are the rules if you want to read them:

We will be going to this system as that is the current system and it will be a benefit to the league in many ways.

The kicker is I can only change to this system during the preseason (February in game) so that is what I will do. My intent was to wait and implement this for the 2064 season so everyone had a 1 year buffer to adjust but since you can only change it in pre-season I will do that this year and I hope it kicks in for next offseason. If it does not we will still use our current system and I will manually track the draft stuff. YOU STILL HAVE THE ONE YEAR BUFFER, I am just not sure how the game handles it just yet.

Other than that not many big changes and lets have a great 2063 and good luck to everyone!!!!

One more change I made that I forgot to mention. I moved the rule 5 draft from December 30th to Jan 1st. Guys have asked in the past why do it right before Jan 1 reports come out and that makes sense so we will now do it on Jan 1st
