Foster is a career .340 hitter and one of the best lead off hitters we have ever had. He was also a terror on the base paths and scored a ton of runs. Being possibly the best leadoff hitter ever is a big deal. I think prime Grady was better but prime Grady ended at 26 years old. Same reason I do not vote Mark Lindsay or Gamboa.

After Foster’s age 27 season, he never had over 3 WAR

So read about the real baseball hall of fame ... Would Lindsey be like Johann Santana?

After they let Harold Baines in I think everyone is a hall of famer in real life

I was looking at his numbers when i saw he made it. yeah they dropped the ball on that one.
