NDL Champ teams

Post by Nole4real »

Good lord Southern Cal and Florida DOMINATING NDL

throw tenn and osu and their 5 appearances..only 4 other teams have had nc chances in last 10 seasons and there has NEVER been a champ game without one of these 4.

edit: 1 of these 4 on the last 10 seasons...i'll get the 1-6 teams up in a sec

true..i thought the same thing

BUT, we gotta rememeber Iowa was an A- in 05 AND 06 I think

and like packsy said..carlwayne was a badas

I also blame mo for being the 1st Shel with the late season chokes (on a smaller level and though shel has gotten that monkey off his back)

also throw in a string of sub-par ohio state coaches (some good ones in there too but....), and ohio state seems to have the most guys who quit 3 games into the season (i can think of 3 off the top of my head)

AND Penn state not being great til 09 really...and u get iowa swooping in on a champ gameless big10

im surpised we HAVENT seen FSU, Penn St, or LSU....fsu especially with the love ea usually gives them ratings wise

All that pales in comparison to the love that Notre Dame gets.

I would say he did, not that I will ever get in a Championship game, but I think he had an amazing season and should not have to walk around with a monkey anymore...

I would say the gorilla turned into a baby chimp.

Reason being is that he won a Cup, has had a stellar last 2 seasons, and has finally made a championship game.

With that being said though, he is one of the best players to never win one..ala Dan Marino if you will.

That baby chimp wont be officially off until he wins one in my opinion though. :D

The whole "choke" thing has now become wayyyyyyy blown out of proportion.

Sure it was there a while back. But it's like I'm now expected to win EVERY single game I play. I'm not sure why so many guys think I'm THAT good.

I've gone 22-2 the past 2 seasons, finished ranked 3rd, lost in a title game, won a Cup title, and had a Cup Final 4. I'm completely content with that.

I'll take that and 14 straight 9 win seasons over 1 fluke season and never being heard from again before or after that. ;)
